CFS-377 1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane

CAS No.: 51851-37-7

CFS-377 is a fluorosilane containing hydrolyzable ethoxy groups. It offers excellent water resistance, oil repellency, and anti-fingerprint performance. As a high-performance fluorosilane, CFS-377 is mainly used in surface treatment and advanced material applications to enhance surface protection and improve the interfacial bonding between organic polymers and inorganic substrates.

Key Functions

CFS-377 can be used as a surface modifier, adhesion promoter, and auxiliary for sol-gel systems. It improves the interfacial bonding between organic fluoropolymers and inorganic substrates while providing treated surfaces with excellent water-repellent, oil-repellent, and anti-fingerprint properties.

Applications

CFS-377 can be used as an auxiliary for sol-gel systems in coatings and sealants.

As a surface modifier and adhesion promoter, CFS-377 can be used for the surface treatment of inorganic materials such as glass and ceramics, improving the bonding performance between organic fluoropolymers and inorganic substrates.

CFS-377 can also be used in the synthesis of fluororesins and fluorocopolymers. It can be applied in wood, textiles, and cosmetics to provide excellent surface protection, water repellency, and oil repellency.

In addition, CFS-377 can be used in agricultural plastic films and as an important additive for the synthesis of anti-drip and anti-fogging agents.
